“ Emmanuel Shaw Wants to Kill Me”, Journalist Philipbert Brown Alarms

IPNews-Monrovia: Liberian acclaimed Journalist who busted the famous missing 15 billion Liberian Bank Notes, Philipbert Brown has again alarmed about an assignation plot by some hired Burkinabe assassins currently in the country to eliminate him and other journalists in the country.

It may be recorded Journalist Philibert Brown in 2018, broke the damning news of an alleged missing 16 billion Liberian Dollars from the Liberian economy which now remains an unending nightmare for the Liberian government under the leadership of former soccer great George Manneh Weah.

Brown told a popular radio show 50-50 on Sky FM in Monrovia, that another Liberian Journalist, Nathaniel McClain (a close ally to Emmanuel Shaw) had sloped him that President George Weah’s Economic Advisor and close friend of former Liberian President Charles Taylor Emmanuel Shaw is seeking Brown’s residence or his hideouts for the purpose of getting even with him for an alleged offence dating many years back.

Mr. Brown narrated that McClain told him that Emmanuel Shaw is seeking revenge for something he (Brown) did to him more than ten years ago.

However, appearing on the same 50-50 show yesterday, Thursday, October 25,2019,  along with Mr. Philibert Brown, the man at the center of the allegation, Nathaniel McClain denied ever saying what is being attributed to him by Mr. Brown.

McClain has at the same accused Brown of targeting him with these allegations with an unknown motive for reasons best known to himself.

This paper is making frantic efforts with the office of the Economic Advisior for his comment.
