IPNews-Monrovia: The sun of Gbarpolu County Representative Alfred Koiwood, has rejected media reports that he has been abandoned by his father to fend for himself.

Responding to claims that he has been neglected by his dad, seventeen years old Jamel Koiwood said he cannot remember granting interview to any reporter complaining his father.

Jamel who described the reportage as false and misleading added that the report may have been orchestrated by individuals fighting to disconnect him from his father who according to him (Jamel) is doing everything possible to educate and build a better future for him.

The 17 year old disclosed that his father has just concluded his academic payments including the purchasing of uniform, textbooks and other essential school materials.

“I do not know where they are getting their story from, Jarnel stated.

Little Jamel Koiwood was quick to point accusing fingers to Representative Alfred Koiwood’d political enemies whom he claimed are coping everything within their power to tarnish his (Rep. Koiwood) reputation ahead of the mid-term Senatorial elections next year.

Similarly, the mother of little Jamel praised the lawmaker for cooperating with her at all times on matters relating to the general welfare of their son.

Madam Baindu Fumba told media practitioners that she was shocked by media report that Rep. Koiwood has abandoned his son and that he pays less attention to his (Jamel) education.

She appealed to the lawmaker not to get discourage in supporting his son due to the malicious publication as she indicated ‘it has no iota of truth.
