Bloody Tuesday!

IPNews-Monrovia: Normal academy activities are the Seventh Day Adventist and the St. Simon Baptism high school were disrupted Tuesday when Students of the Monrovia Consolidated School System-MCSS invaded the premises of both institutions.

Our report who was on the scene observed that several students sustained major injuries from both institutions with several properties damaged including vehicles as Tuesday riot continues opposite the Liberia National police staff apartment and headquarters as officers of the Liberia national police brought under control the disorder .

Students of the Monrovia Consolidated School System were seen throwing stones which resulted into breaking of the schools window glasses that damaged both schools gates.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with IPNews, Madam Cecelia Fayiah principal of the Seventh Day Adventist expressed serious frustration over the behavior of the MCSS student and called on government to put a hut to the situation.

Madam Cecelia Fayiay principal of the Seventh Day Adventist high school located on Camp Johnson followed by Tobias Kieh an instructor of the of the SDA High school, worked to put the students under control.

For his part, the vice president for Academic Affairs of the ST. Simom Baptism Mr. Alexander Moore told IPNews that two students sustained minor injuries and were sent at the a local clinic, while several properties were destroyed and called on the government of Liberia to take responsibilities of the damages.
