IPNews-Monrovia: Controversial Montserrabo County district #10 Representative Yekeh kolubah, is again at the spotlight, this time threatening to throw-blows if the House of Representatives allows’ Finance and Development Minister, Samuel Tweah, go ahead with ongoing salary harmonization.
Representative Kolubah told Legislative reporters that ‘there be serious throwing of blows in the plenary of Honorable House of Representatives if there is continuing attempts to cut Civil Servants salaries by members of the Executive branch of government’.
Representative Yekeh Kolubah stated that ‘he stands prepare to be expel from the National Legislature if his colleagues allowed the proposed harmonization continue without their concerns’, pointing direct fingers at chair, House’s Standing committee on Ways, Means and Finance, Representative Thomas Fallah, of district 5, Montoserrado County.
The tough-talking Montserrado County Lawmaker, added that beginning the next two weeks, he shall attend every sessions at the House of Representative to ensure this happened.
Rep. Kolubah: “Beginning today, I will attend every session here, whether Executive or open session of this House to ensure that people who are conniving with the Executive Breach of government to ill-treat out people by cutting their salary and myself dance to the floor with blows.
“I stands ready and prepare to face anyone who will support the slashing of Civil Servants salaries.”
Meanwhile, Rep. Kolabah has backed recent calls by Grand Kru County, disitrct N0. 2 Representative , Johnathan Fonati Koffa and Montserrado County, Senator, Darius Dillon, for the reduction of lawmaker’s salaries.
Representative Yekeh Kolubah stated that for too long members of the National Legislature thought about themselves rather than the people they represent.
He call on members of both Houses of the National Legislature to begin the reduction this fiscal budgetary period which is still under consideration.
